Polène Cyme Raffia

For this edition, the Cyme, a sculptured tote bag, has been embellished with raffia, a naturally flexible plant fiber. Its wavy patterns are handcrafted by artisans in Madagascar using an innovative combination of crochet stitches. Needle embroidery connects the lines of openwork raffia to the leather. This edition embodies the intersection of raffia artisanship and leather goods expertise.

Materials
Raffia is a particularly fragile material that naturally changes over time and, therefore, requires care and attention during its use and maintenance. To preserve the model’s original appearance, use care when wearing it. Avoid rubbing anything against the raffia and prolonged exposure to direct light or heat. Keep the bag away from water, greasy substances, perfumes, and cosmetics, as well as from dark or new clothing, as the dye may bleed. If the bag becomes wet, absorb excess liquid by dabbing gently with a soft cloth and then let dry. Do not overfill the bag. Store it in its dust bag and box.
